Plays by the Tombstone Repertory Company, Inc. – through May
Hours: Each Saturday at 7 p.m. through May 23, and Sunday, May 17 at 3 p.m.
Where: Schieffelin Hall, Fourth and Freemont Streets
What: The Tombstone Repertory Company presents two back-to-back plays, “Tombstone Heiress” and “Midday or Approximately Noon.” Both one-act shows are written by Bob Hoskins.

Tombstone Art Gallery – all summer
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: Tombstone Art Gallery, 317 E. Allen St.
What: Featured artists’ work on display through the summer months.

Alabaster Stone Carving Workshop - May 16
Hours: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Gallery of Dreams
What: Learn to carve stone with Master Sculptor Tim Trask and his apprentice, Jon Solbakken.

Wyatt Earp Days  - May 23 to 25
Where: Allen Street
What: Summary  This Memorial Day weekend memorializes lawman Wyatt Earp with street entertainment, a chili cook-off, an 1880s fashion show, look-a-like contest and “Showdown in Tombstone 2009,” a re-enactment contest. Sponsored by the Tombstone Vigilantes and Tombstone Lions Club. The Lions Club will raffle an 1851 .44 caliber Navy revolver on Monday just after 4 p.m.

Tombstone City Library Children’s Reading Program
- June 1 to 26
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
Where:  Tombstone City Library, 4th and Toughnut Streets.
What: The theme for this year’s program is “Be Creative.” Participants receive gift bags on June 26.

Summer Concert Series in the Park
– June 1 to Aug. 31
Where: Tombstone City Park, corner of Third and Allen Streets
What: Listen to live music in the Tombstone City Park and enjoy lemonade and punch provided by the Tombstone Chamber of Commerce. Attendees may bring their own beer and wine and are encouraged to bring their own seating.

Sabbar Shriners Tombstone Sweet Onion Festival - June 19 to 21
Where: Allen Street
What: The festival features a parade, Onion Queen crowning, an onion cook-off, live music and onion vendors.

Tombstone Gem & Mineral Show
- June 19 to 21
Hours: Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.  to 6 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Tombstone Territories RV Park, 2111 East Highway 82, Huachuca City, AZ
What: The theme for the 7th annual show is “Old West Merchants & Miners.” Sponsored by the Rhinestone Cowboy.
Cost: Free admission and parking.

Family Style Fourth of July  - July 4
Where: Medigovich Field
What: The event will include an all-ages softball tournament, round robin, children’s games, food and fireworks.  Sponsored by Tombstone Knights of Columbus.

Vigilante Days – Aug. 7 to 9
Where: Allen Street
What: The three-day event features a 10k run, chili cook-off, street performances and re-enactments. Sponsored by the Tombstone Vigilantes. The 10k run starts Sunday at 6:30 a.m. Participants can register Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Vigilante Booth on Fourth and Allen Streets, or Sunday starting at 5:30 a.m. at the Tombstone City Park.

Rendezvous of Gunfighters – Sept. 4 to 7
Where: Allen Street
What: Re-enactment groups from across the U.S. will perform and will hold a costume contest and parade. Sponsored by the Tombstone Wild Bunch.
